Government Calls Election !

Today Prime Minister Justin Walker Called a Election For November 2013, He asked the GG at her residence.
The Government also requested that legislation in the house be passed before Parlament shuts down, The Prime Minister
said that the Governments Record stands sold and fells that his 5 years in Office where good ones. We have yet to hear from the
Opposition house leaders on this development.

The Prime Minister's Office will be open all night to night as while as the next couple of days while the Government winds down operations for the Election, Parliament will stay open until next week when Campinging will begin. The Last Gallup poll showed the Governing Liberals at 52% The Conservatives at 27% and the NDP at 21%

Liberals Re-elected with Larger Majority !

Ottawa- Today Prime Minister Justin Walker congratulated the Liberals on there win last night.


He will return to Government with a larger Majority then he had at dissolution. As for the Conservatives the picked up some seats as will
as sweeping Alberta, but the NDP Lost a number of seats.


The Prime Minister said that he will ask the Governor General to call Parliament into session this week to start the Governments new mandate.


The Prime Minister is expected to send the speech from the throne to the house floor this week as while.

Government works to cut GST in all Province's


Today the Government said that they plan to eliminate the Goods and services tax in all Provinces and HST. Currently all Province's have some form of the Tax and the First Ministers said that they welcomed this action by the government.


The Opposition has yet to make comment on this development, and no bill has been introduced in Parliament.

Bank Governor warns of Economic collapse.

Today Wayne Jonson the Governor of the Bank of Canada said that with the collapse of the US housing market will cause many problems for Canada.


Jonson said that " the events in the US will have a negative reaction to our markets and there is no way that we can insulate ourselves from it, we just need to make sure we have a plan to come out of what ever problems there may be come out strong"


The Governor is also saying that he may have to down grade US companies that trade in Canada and have loans here as while, but he said that " we are just reviewing them at this stage and we will have to wait and see what happens.
